Tripura

Located in North East India, Tripura is not a very commercialized tourist destination. But that does not by any means imply that Tripura has nothing to offer to a visitor. Amongst the places that you must visit while at Tripura, places like Agartala, Pilak, the Tripurasundari Temple, Neermahal, Jampui Hill, and Dumboor Lake are a must see. The Buddhist monasteries in Pecharthal, Manu Bakul, Pilak, and Boxnagar are also not worth a miss. The Nazrul Jayanti, Boat Race festival, Manasa Mangal, Durga Puja, and Ras are some of the many festivals that are celebrated throughout Tripura with great zeal.
